Expedition on '08 Limited 22's wrapped in 305/45-22 Grabber UHP

Trucks dirty, but you get the point.

Wasn't a ton of info on how well this size tire fits on this wheel and I must say, it fits PERFECT.

Love this tire alot too! Only been on it a few weeks, but its been amazing!!

Before the wheels (pic from last year, cause there sure as heck is NO SNOW this year)

Thanks guys and I agree, the truck just looks "right" with this setup.

No one, aside from hardcore Ford guys, has ever said a word about the wheels on this Expy, because they look like they were made for this truck.

Getting rid of the 275/45's made a HUGE difference in looks and handling. Its like different truck with the 305's...in a good way of course!

I still say what I said when i got the wheels. They are the smallest 22's EVER! They just dont look that big. They look just perfect and right at home on the ol expy...but they sure as hell dont look like 22's.

Then again, 22's of today are like 17's from 8 years ago.

I don't think they look that bad, but for me a 4x4 looks much better with knobby tires than low profile. But isn't that gonna be a sled in the snow with sure a small sidewall ?

I agree...on a truck...not an suv. My truck was lifted with AT tires, but then i had twins, sold the truck and got an SUV. Oh, does it matter if i put it in AWD instead of 4x4? Does that make street tires ok? LOL
We just got our first snow of the year today, and the 12"+ wide tires...yeah, the push some snow. But this size was so much cheaper than a 275 or 285 and I think it completes the clean look of a "street" expy.

Just gotta keep in mind that this is an SUV and not a truck. And this SUV hauls around twin 2yr olds and a 4 yr old. So low and smooth is the goal for now, until the kids get older and I can get a truck back!

Those rims look almost as good as they do on my 08 Limited F-150! lol

I feel your pain with the kids situation.....the two car seats in the back of the supercrew doesn't do much for my ego until the boys tell me that they wanna go for a ride in my "monster truck"!
