brake calipers staying on

brake calipers staying on

I have a 1998 F150 2wd. Every week or two ill use the brakes while driving and one of the front calipers will stay stuck in place and will drag on that side.....it isnt always on the same side....what is causing this, is it the master cylinder or something else? thankyou

do you mean that they are bad or they have some trash of some sort in them?

Bad lines stretch then collapse inside. Leaves you with a slow return on fluid pressure.

Jbrew your talking about the rubber lines that are connected to the caliper correct? the metal lines wont do that will they? thanks

Replace the rubber flex hose, I paid $26 for it

Yea, Ford lines aren't the greatest for twin piston calipers. Braided lines are best, they won't expand.
