Cooper zeon ltz help!!

I have been looking at these tires for about a month now. My only problem is that i don't know anyone with these tires. I have heard great thing about them and they are a great price. i just need a good all terrain tire that will last and do well on the street, about three feet of snow and some mud! i also pull about 5K pounds every other month camping. Any help would be awesome and pics would be sweet!

Post pics once you get them. Are you going to go bigger or stay with OEM sizing?

Gtullous,

I have a Sterling Grey 2010 F150 XLT Regular Cab 4x4 on order. I'm putting on Platinum Edition 20" wheels with 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Based on your experience with the larger 305/55/20 Coopers, and blessings by Wandell and PawPaw, I expect to replicate your success. Your original posting of "They Fit" steered me to the 305/50/20 Nittos.

I'm also adding Sterling Grey wheel lip covers, Platinum Edition bodyside moldings, Truxedo Lo Pro soft tonneau cover, spray-in liner, and possibly a Lariat Chrome Package mesh grill and PowerFold mirrors, if feasible. I understand the mirrors may cost $3,000 or so, but I want effortless parking into the ol' garage.

Your truck looks great, by the way!

I got the Cooper Zeon LTZ on mine and I think they are great. They ride very good on the highway at high speeds and in town at slow speeds. Haven't taking them any further than the back yard, but for the price you get a really nice look. I will try to get a pic of them up sometime. It has been a very busy summer and I can't make any promises. Good luck shopping. P.S. I also have the 20" factory wheel. Those are the Pirelli's in the sig.

Hey Gtullous,

Thanks for the info re: your set up.

I am thinking of going with the Ultra Mako 20x9 wheels with either the 305-55-20 or 305-50-20, but I'm not sure if I'll end up rubbing because of the wider rim and possible different offset. I don't know alot about offsets so I'll have to rely on the tire shop.

Do you know the offset of your OEM 20's?

offset

I have the Roush 20's , wich are a 20x 8.5. with a 38 mm offset. You should search tire size calculator. It helps alot

im not sure on the offset of the factory 20's...the tires dont stick out past my fenders more than 1/2 inch in front and look even with the fender in rear....in front the width of the tire gets close to the control arm...if i reach over the tire i cant get a finger between it and the control arm...on factory 20's i think a 12.5'' wide tire may be max but i could have gone alittle taller maybe......overall i like the way they fit and ride...

what is the look your going for? 6" of backspace and up will keep the tire tucked.
