new wheels! someone help me please!!

ok i have asked this question before but im a little confused... i am about to order ballistic jester 20x9 with 305/55 cooper zeons... i was told i need a +12 offset so i wont rub.... but dont i need a -12 so they will be further away from the hub? anyone know if this setup will work without a leveling kit?? just a stock stance?

The 20x9 rim with a -12 offset has a 4.5" backspace which means the wheel is going to stick out about 2.5 inches further than stock. Without some lift the 12" tire you listed may rub the front and back of the fender well.

If you stay with the +12 offset, it has the same 5.5" backspace as your OEM wheels and will only stick out 1.5" further than stock, but it is also 33" tall and may also rub with no lift.

With a 12" tire and 5.5" backspace you shouldn't have to worry about rubbing on the inside control arms, it's just the outside of the wheel well due to tire height and wheel width with no lift.

I don't think you will have any rubbing with the 5.5 inches of BS, but you will probably have to trim a little plastic with 4.5 inches of BS.

I think so. If there is any rubbing at all it will be very, very minor.
