It's partially due to these being Alcoa's. But it's also due to the greed associated with this dealer. Look thru their other auctions and you'll see they list most everything at full price. We are spoiled by the Tasca's and a couple other dealers who make say 20% over cost on each deal.

FWIW, the center caps used on those wheels are one's our 04 Expedition came with. They were junk after the first NH winter. Blue oval emblems fell off and the brushed centers corroded. Poor design.

Those are the wheels I have. However I paid no where near that price for them. I got mine off of ebay years ago for about $675 for the set best I can remember. Right place right time maybe but it was a Ford dealer in FL that was selling off several brand new sets. I have seen them on ebay at other times for around a $1000 or so. My center caps are fine and I love the wheels. I only have seen one other set near me in the Memphis metro area and only a couple of others that I know of on this site.
