ok, I've looked and looked through pages trying to find a answer to my question. However i couldn't come up with a def answer to what i seek.... I have a 08 FX4 150, I am looking at ordering 20in XD's for it with 33" tires. The truck is all bone stock, no mods at all, no leveling kid, nothing.... will 33" wheels fit with no problems?

Yes. I'd suggest using a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

What backspacing does that work out to be? If it's 5 to 6 inches, you will be fine without a leveling kit as long as you go with a 305/55-20 (33x12.50) or 285/55-20 (33x11.50) tire.
