Possible TPMS issues?

So I have an 06 fx4 that came stock with 20" wheels and I would like to find someone to trade for their stock 18" wheels. I brought this up to a tech at a local ford dealer and he said that I might have problems with tire pressure monitoring system if I do that. Just wandering if anyone else has had any problems with this system. Can I just swap and not worry or do I need to reprogram the system for the different size wheels or what? He also mentioned something about possible clearance issues with the brakes if I downsize but I don't foresee this as a problem since some of the fx4's come stock with 18's.

You will have no problem, since they did not put TPMS sensors onto the F150 until 2007.

just found a chart that proves that that guy didn't know what he was talking about like I suspected. Maybe he thought my truck was an 07 for some reason
