Alright so this dumbass at a Big 10 tire shop says that I can't fit 35" BFG M/T KMs on my truck. I have an 04 Supercrew with a 2.5" leveling kit...can I give someone their phone number and let you guys tell them they are stupid...LOL xD
Who here has 35" MTs on their truck with just a leveling kit? Cause Im buying them lol....I would figure they would rub just little when you turn your wheels all the way.....look at my pics to see my truck.
Well see I am really over the hardcore muddin part of my life, however I spend half my life on clay roads, and I had the same tires on my old truck and after seeing how well they did on wet clay, I don't want anything else.
I like the 33" 's on leveled 4wds. Look less forced IMO. However you need to satisfy yourself... it's your truck

Yes, a 35x12.50 will fit using the OEM wheels but they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering.

Very True, but depends on brand. The newer bfgs seem to run narrow then the toyos for example in the same size. I had 285 75 18's toyos and had no issues at all. They were actually 35.1" tall.
I have an '05 Screwfx4 and just put on bilstein leveling shocks and the 35" KM2's. Only minor rubbing at full lock. The guys at the tire shop didn't think they would fit either, but they do.
see rxman my best friend has an 05 Fx4 Supercrew and has 18 in rims like me and he has very minor rubbing, and we both have the same leveling kit. i just didn't know if the rancho suspension he had had anything to do with the one i had...
These shops get on my nerves. It seems like sum of them don't kno a thing about backspacing and most swear you cant fit 35's but you can. a place were i live will put a 35" tire on a teen inch rim and just cause it wont fit stock height they tell you that you need 6"s of lift to fit a 35" tire on any rim that you have. you can tho!
When i got my 33's put on the oem rims...the shop said that there was no doubt that they had to level my truck to clear the tires. I wanted it level anyway so i didn't argue. I have a ton of clearance too.
