Rim/Spacer curiosity question

I was reading about some guys talking about spacers and such, and I'm not 100% on when you need to use spacers.

Essentially how wide a rim/tire setup can you go before you need spacers?
Just let me know if Im saying this wrong?

I think you may be meaning a leveling kit. It's really about how you want your truck to sit. Most people prefer them to be level. They do add a little bit of tire clearance though.

Basically I'm just curious about how big a tire/rim you can go to prevent 'scrubbing' and keep most of the stock turning radius. Thats why I was mentioning spacers, isn't that what they are made for?

Wheel spacers are generally a bad idea. They usually create more problems (vibrations, tire fitment) than they solve.
Tell us more about your truck.
