max tire size question(i know not another one sorry) for 03 fx4

thats pretty much it. the truck has some pirelli scorpion tires on it which are good tires i guess but not what i need in the winter. stock everything. whats the biggest i can go. also recommendations on tires that will work best for everything from mud to rain to ice to snow to dry. thanks in advance

imo bfg's at is a good tire. You can fit a 305/65-17(33). If you crank your torsion bars you can fit a 315/70 (35). if you do that just use your stock keys and align it afterwards.

thanks. bascially i just want a tire big enough that i can put on and drive away. the 33's would not require any adjustments then right? just have em put on and go?

Correct. 33's (285/70-17 or 305/65-17) will fit easily. You can fit a 315/70-17 (35x12.50) using the OEM wheels but they will rub the frame slightly at full steering lock.
