If your talking about the mud grappler, I would rather go with the toyo for many reasons such as tread life, design and looks, performance in every category, quietness. The nittos do have a very agresive tread design that looks killer but is also super super loud and not the best riding. Especialy 38's. Both are great looking tires IMHO. Hope this helps!

Go mud grapplers.... I have them in 37s and absolutely love the loud sound they make and how aggressive they are. You will get decent miles out of them if you take care of them. I rotate and balance mine every 3-4k along with my oil changes. Only thing i think toyo beats the grapplers in is tread life.. Deff not looks or ability to mud in.

I had the same choice as your are trying to make a few weeks ago. I will be needing new 38's here in the next few months, and was debating the Toyo's or the Mud Grapplers. This is my Pros and Cons list for each tire:

Pros: (Grapplers)
Look, Sound, Not everyone is running them

Cons: (Grapplers)
Not the best mileage, probably wont ride like a Caddy LOL (but what do you expect from a "True MT" tire? It ain't no street tire)

Pro: (Toyo's)
Mileage, Ride

Cons: (Toyo's)
Look (not aggressive enough), to dang quite, and everyone runs on a set

Nailed it and like i said the only good thing about the toyos are the mileage but everyone has them and what do you really expect from a TRUE mud tire? Just about everything the grapplers have to offer
