Squeaky noise after bearing replacement

HI,

Last week i changed rotor/pads/bearings(inner and outer) on my 98 f150 2wd. I am getting a squeaky noise coming out at very slow wheel revolution, disappear at normal speeds . What could be the problem ?

Thanks

did you pack the new bearings well with grease?

did you over tighten the hub nut?

brakes will have a slight "drag" at slow speeds, to be sure this isnt what you are hearing, take the front pads off and spin the wheel/ hub assembly by hand and feel if there is anything hanging up in the bearings

Packed the bearing as well as i could using good waterproof grease but not specialized bearing grease. Did not overtighten nuts ( tighten to seat bearings, than backed off and tighten by hand). Will try to turn wheels with pads off. Thanks for advice.

Sometimes there are anti squeak/vibration clips - did you reuse them? Also did you lube the backside of the pads with "break pad grease"? I doubt its your bearings.

I reused them and i did grease the back side of the pads with waterproof bel ray grease. The sound is not occurring when i start to brake , it just starts at the very beginning at take off at very slow revolution then dissappear. I have a feeling i left the hub nut too loose, Be cause when i backed off after tightennig the hub nut, i was able to tighten it by hand and left it there.

regards.
