Hey guys, this is my first post. I've been looking at getting into an F150 for about a year now and I finally found the one I wanted to buy, so I did. It is a 2006 Xlt 4x4 Supercab Short bed. I plan on putting a 2" leveling kit on the truck(not sure on brand yet, would love suggestions). But my question is would a 275/65/20 tire fit on the truck without rubbing or mods, with only the 2" level, or should I stick to a 33/12.50/20? A 275/65/20 is 34" tall, 10.82" wide. They would be going on a 20x9 rim. Thanks guys.
They will fit, depending on the wheels backspacing, but I think a 305/55-20 (33x12.50) will look much better. Also, I'd recommend the Autospring leveling kit.

Welcome to the forum. You will love the information and advice they pass around here. One thing though, if you ask a question you will probably get 10 people with 10 different answers. The problem is they will all be right in some way. At least you will have some options to explore and figure out which will fit your interests and truck style. Keep reading and enjoy. Oh and I have 285/70-17s on a non lifted truck. See sig.

Welcome to the forum as well. After about a year and half, I decided to go with this setup. I bought a AutoSpring 2" leveling kit on Ebay for about $90 with shipping I think. I bought the BFG AT 285/65/20's (34 inch tire) on factory 20" rims. I had the tire company order, mount, install the leveling kit, and align for $1750 (tires were $1480 alone). Here is how it turned out. I am extremely happy and I looked at the Toyos, Nittos, etc and read many reviews on here. I think I made the right choice!
Nice pic, Ryan. That is the stance and look I am wanting. I did a lot of research on level kits and just ordered the AS 2.5" kit. After these are installed I will begin saving for the wheels and tires.

I went with the 2" Autospring kit to avoid the extra stress on my front end. I know a 1/2" does not sound like a lot, but I wanted to avoid problems. From there, I went with a 3" ReadyLift blocks in the rear and since I tow a boat, I added the 2000# SuperSpring Helpers to avoid sagging issues. I have just over an inch of back to front rake compared to a perfectly level truck with just the 2" AS.
I bought the 33x12.5 Toyo MTs with 18x9 Rockstars which have a 0 offset and 5" of backspace.
I think the stance is just right for our F150s.
