285 ATZ and 2" AS pics!

Here are my new shoes and level kit pics for you guys. I wish now I would have went bigger on the tires, but oh well i like the look anyway. They deffinatly ride harder than the stockers and used up some power too.
Stock tires and 2" AS..

I was thinking they were not ATZs because they look different, but then I looked up on MT website, the are "Baja ATZ Radial Plus". They have a different tread thing in the middle.

285 by what? (285/70-17 is my guess) Not sure how tall they are.

Did you choose white walls out or did the tire shop do it? I guess you just don't see OWL that often anymore.

They are 285/70/17, I like white letters myself I know most here dont. They are not the Radial plus they are the ATZ "traditional size" with side bites.

Do you have 3.55 gears or 3.73's?

I'm having reservations about going bigger tires with 3.55's...I'd like to go 275/70-17's they are like 32.2" tall or something so only 1.1" or so larger then stock I believe...But worried about taking too much power out of it...

Any info would be great!

Truck looks awesome!!!!

Not arguing here with ya raptorman, but looking at these images is where I though they were the radial plus. Pictures are from M-T's website. Just making sure you got what you paid for, I would imagine the radial plus would be cheaper due to the slightly less aggressive looks.

MT does make two different versions of the ATZ. They have a black letter, more aggressive version and a tamer version with whitle letters on one side.

That was my point. I was expediting ATZs with the black wall and more radical tread design. I just hope the owner wasn't. I hope it did not come across rude or whatever but just making sure he knew what h got and made sure he got what he paid for. Not sure but probably a difference in price.

No you are fine, not being rude at all. I do see the difference, if you get them with white letters they come like your second pic, black walls the first pic. they had the ones like the first pic but being a 10 ply I didnt want that harsh of a ride so i went with the 8 plys. and still ride rough. Apparently by your pics I must have the radial plus, but they dont say that anywhere on them? Or the sticker. Oh well, I still like them I think they look better in person the pics dont look that good IMO.
MXZEATR,
I do have the 3.55 gears, and did notice a power decrease. But I also have the Edge tuner so didnt notice that much. i would say without the tuner it would feel like a turtle. Havent really noticed much difference in MPG's maybe 1/2 MPG or so worse. It still feels like it has "enough" power to get the job done, its not like going from a V8 to a 4cyl. just a little noticeable change.

Yeah when I ordered my ATZ's the guy at the shop said there was a lot of mix up of people ordering the Plus's instead of the trad... said its very common if you dont look hard at what your ordering
