Bolt Pattern for Wheels on 2000 F-150
Ok i'm sure my stock wheels are a 5x135mm bolt pattern on my truck, but correct me if i'm wrong. I have a 2000 F-150 4x4. My question is that will a 5x5.5" bolt pattern not work on my truck? I always thought that it would work, but tonight my friend let me try out one of his American Racing Atlas wheels off of a Dodge to see if it would fit onto my truck, but the holes do not quite line up. Am i doing something wrong? Is there someway to get the wheels on there? Or are the wheels just not going to work on my truck? I was really hoping for them to work because they are polished aluminum in excellent shape with good BFGoodrich 315/75/16's on there and he was going to sell them to me for $500. Any sort of input would be great, I guess I always thought the 5x5.5" pattern would work on my truck, but I'm starting to think I had been thinking wrong.

I've wished that too but to no avail. the 5x5.5 converted to metric is 5x139 and ours is the 135. That 2 measly millimeters will keep us from getting ahold of alot more wheel choices. And as time passes there are gettin fewer and fewer choices as wheel companies are discontinuing their 5x135 wheels...

Yeah thats what i was afraid of, that they wouldnt work. A 5 bolt wheel is hard enough to find used in the first place, let alone a 5X135 mm bolt pattern which is much harder to find. Well this really sucks, looks like i may be saving a lot more money than i wanted to so i can buy brand new wheels due to the fact of how hard it is to find used ones. Thanks for the help guys, its much appreciated.
