balancing 20's

My new truck has 20x10 wheels with a 305/50 tire. The dealer has balanced them twice now. Smooth ride for 5. Days and now I have vibration again. Is this a common problem with this big of a wheel? After 60 mph is where I get the vibration everytime.

I will feel some vibration and think that I need to get balanced again and then it's gone. Just shows up occasionally, so I don't think it's a balance problem on mine.

Talk to the dealer today. Said that its commented in the computer that the 2 sided tape is sliding causing this problem and is noted it may continue to happen. Anyone have suggestions?

they're not cleaning the wheel

Have them use brake cleaner and shop rag where the weights need to go. Or if they are dirty brake cleaner and a scotch brite pad

To see if they are really moving, mark the location of the wheel weights with a sharpy and look a few days later. That will tell you if they've moved or not. A little alcohol will remove the sharpy marks.

dont use wheel weights; have them put bags in. it should be like 3 oz.'s or soemthing like that. Its just a bag of small beads they put it. No sliding of tape, no sight of wieghts on the wheel.

Its what you would use on really big tires ( truck tires , 11R 22.5's) I used them on my 37's, no vibrations.
