you need more to get it out farther, but too much it will be like mine and rubbing the fenders!

No, less backspacing pushes the wheels farther out. More backspacing pulls them in. You are right about possibly eliminating rubbing in one area only to create it somewhere else however.
If you tell us what kind of truck you have along with what tire and wheel we will be able to help you more.

i have the 2002 f150 2wd, 4.6L. i put a 3 inch body lift and a 2 inch leveling in the front. i have 35inch pro comp all terrains on my stock rims. i knew i shouldnt put them on stock rims but i did untill i could find out what kind of wheel i needed. the tires rub on the frame and another bar that i would guess would be like a sway bar?? it connects to each controll arm and connects them...

You are pretty much stuck. If you go to a wider wheel you are gonna have rubbing on the outer portion of the wheelwells. I'd suggest installing a set of lift spindles and a set of 16x8 inch wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

If you combine a leveling kit (coilspring spacers) and lift coils you are gonna need new, longer upper control arms to get the alignment within specs.
