Size does matter. Perhaps roll sample tires alongside to get an idea. Consider the potential for tire rub on turns - watch the widths of each given tire. Also consider performance differences since larger tires present an effectively lower gear ratio. Any bumper height laws to worry about?

I think tires are a lot like boats - hardly ever hear of anybody wishing that they'd gone smaller. Just have to make sure everything fits.

I have 33s on my 2004, I keep teeter tottering between going with 33" MTs, and 35" MTs. I figure a happy medium, and one I know will fit without further lift, is a 305/70R17, but there are VERY few MFGs out there for that size in an MT... Namely Remmington, Maxxis, and Goodyear as far as I know. I have heard great things about the Buckshots though. I figure I will give those a shot this spring.

33's and 35's will both look great. What engine and gears do you have? Do you plan on regearing?

35's all the way. If you get 33's, you'll want 35's the following week. The rubbing issues are easily addressed.

I'm running Maxxis Buckshot Mudders 315/75/16s and get compliments on the tires and truck all the time.

I have a 3.73 LS with the Edge, but was running the same set up on 2000 Scab 4x4 with a 3.55 open. Whatever you have, you'll probably want at least a programmer with it to make up for lost power IMO.

More pics in my gallery of both the 00 Scab and the 03 SCrew with 35's.

Good choice, you'll be happy with them. Just make sure to rotate them accordingly and you'll get a lot of wear out of them.

Ya the 35's look a little better IMO but you will have to do some trimming on the lower front valance. Also you will have to crank the T-Bars some. Usually even though the tires list as 35 inches they are smaller than that. Mine are right at about 34.5 inches tall.
Pics in my gallery!!
