new rims = leveling kit?

ok so i'm babe in the woods here, if i get bigger rims does that mean i need a leveling kit?

It depends on how big you are going with the wheel and tire. It also depends on the truck. What do you have?

i have a 2001 f150 supercrew, gonna get 22" rims, do u think i need it?

It all depends on how tall of a tire sidewall you go with. For example:

If your stock tire size is 255/70/16 then you can go with a 295/35/22 tire as they are the same outside diameter.

If your stock tire size is 265/70/17 then you can go with a 305/40/22 tire as they are the same outside diameter.

Only thing that you will need to watch for is the wider tires so you need to watch your backspacing on the rims so that you will not rub when turning.

ok well the tires will be 305/45r-22 118h xlb, it that a problem? my stock tires are 265/70r-17.
on another note, what do u think of nitto tires, specifically NT420S
High-performance SUV tire. H and V-speed rated. 305/45R-22 118H XL B

If you have a 4x4, you should be fine. If you have a 4x2, I'd go with a 305/40-22. As for a leveling kit, I assume you are talking about drop shackels to lower the rear since you are going with a street tire/wheel package. Also, both of those tires are pretty good.
