35 X 12.50's

Hey guys I'm new to the board and have been scouring info on tires...especially 35x12.50's.Ive read the "Gazillion" posts where they fit with a 2"/2.5 AS lift on stock rims with only slight rubbing. My question is with these tires is this "Slight Rub" occurring at full lock On-Road only or is there bigger interference issues if I actually take the truck Off Road??? I plan on actually using my truck offroad and dont want to find out later these tires barely fit and are for street duty only!!! BTW I have an 05 Larait Super Cab 4x4 and want to add a 2.5 AS lift with 35x12.50x18 BFG MT's on stock rims and really use them!!!

what kind/level off-road are you planning on doing?
i'll take mine just about anywhere up here in the mountains- across streams, up around our house in the sticks, mud, rocks, snow banks- it only rubs if i hold the truck at full crank- imo it doesn't limit me at all-

welcome to the boards-

Great question! I'll leave the answer to the owners with actual first hand knowledge. My defination of "minor rubbing" is minor rubbing that causes no damage to the tire or the truck.

Yes I have the minor rubbing doesnt hurt anything at all. And mine will rub at full lock on the road slightly.

Thanks for the info guys. My truck will probably be seeing the same type of action as yours BalogUK.I was just curious if you guys had any clearance issues while articulating the suspension offroad.I use it to pull my ATV's out in the desert and mountains here in AZ and the stock tires just arent cutting it. Hopefully my truck will look just like HiVoltages in a week or so except for the Xtra set of doors.

35x13.5x18

procomp xtreme AT on maxx6 18x9 rims rub at half turn unless shave about inch off inner fender and round off front valance. I wouldn't take off off road because rubbing issues. I didn't have to shave no metal.
