Toyo MT, what PSI?

Hey guys, I just got a set of 295/70/17 Toyo MT's on my truck (04' screw) and was wondering what you guys out there with those tires are running the psi at. The dudes that mounted them for me put 45 psi in them (gotta be too soft?), but the tire says 80 max cold. I've heard 5 psi less than max was usually good, but jeez 75 psi seems like a lot. So, thanx in advance for the help.

i ran my 33x12.5R18's on my 05 FX4 at 45 psi- this number was recommended to me by toyo for running the 12.5's on the 7.5" wide stock rim..

i'd say you're about right, pay attention for the first couple thousand miles at how they are wearing, and how your gas mpg is- adjust +/- 5 psi

I've always had good luck with 40psi for daily driving.

As the 80psi max tells me that the tire is probably a load range E tire, I would try them at 50psi. 75 for an F150 would be way too high. Very little road contact.
