I have a 2002 FX4 with 17" wheels. I believe stock is 17x7.5. Does anyone know what the offset and backspacing is on stock? Also, what size of aftermarket rims will fit? I'm looking at either ProComp or MotoMetals that are 17x9 with -6mm offset and 4.75" backspacing. Will these fit ok and about how much will the tire stick out past outer wheel wells??

 

Your OEM wheels are 17x7.5 inches with 4.5 inches of backspacing. Those17x9's will stick out about 1 1/4 inches farther than the OEM wheels. They will not stick outside the wheelwells. My wheels are 10 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing and the edge of my tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of my fenderflares. As for wheels sizes, you will have to use a 16 inch or larger wheel to fit over your brakes.
