New tires, '04 Heritage
Hi everyone,
I searched the forums prior to posting and I found a lot of info but I am still elft with questions. If I missed a previous post, then I apologize. I dumped my 235/75's for 275/75's recently and now I need a speedometer adjustment. My question is this: I know some years require a gear change as opposed to a program change...does the '04 Heritage require a gear or program change?
Also,
I must say (and if someone can explain this, go ahead) since I increased to the 275/75 I have noticed a dramatic improvement in handling of my vehicle on corners and potholes (rough pavement, etc). I would have thought the opposite to be true with increasing height, but I guess the small increase in width made a huge difference. Looking back, the 235 on the 4x4 package was almost dangerous.
