new guy lookin for help

whats up guys, im fixin to buy an '03 F150 king ranch Fx4 and need to know a few things b4 i do... im wantin to put a 6 inch lift on it for starters... and i know all the lift manufacturers say max tire size is 35x12.50 but what would i have to do to fit 37x12.50/17's with little rubbing (only at full lock)? and can i put the 37's on the stock K.R. rims or do i need to go aftermarket? any help would be good help!

You can fit a 37x12.50 using the OEM wheels with a 6 inch lift. Personally, I think a set of 35's on some 10 inch wide aftermarket wheels would look much better.
Also, welcome to the site.

i agree, also the 12.5 look really skinny with a 6" in 35" it would look even worse with 37" i would save the money and get new rims in 10" wide and 35" 13.5 looks the most well rounded to me with a 6" lift. good luck.

I agree. I think a 35x13.00 or 35x13.50 tire on a 10 inch wide wheel would look better.

You will need a 6 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift to fit 37's. The white KR looks like it has a 6 inch suspension lift and 35x12.50's on 17x9 inch wheels to me. (A lot of 17x9's have 5 inches of backspacing and look like those wheels). The burgandy KR looks like it may have 37x12.50 BFG MT KM's on a narrow wheel, like a 17x8.

I don't think it has a body lift. His towhooks are in the stock position and I can't see his frame rails form the side.
