Moto metal 951's with 6.1" backspacing

I'm thinking of puttin some of the moto metals on my truck with the 6.1 backspacing. I have a 2005 with a 2.5 inch leveling kit. I want to go with 18x9. Will they rub? Any pics? Thanks

The wheels will fit fine. Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? What size tire are you going to run?

I have a 4x4. I was thinking of using some 325 60's. I just hope they won't rub on the inside. I'm hoping with that the wheel/tire combo with that offset will still stick out from the truck about and inch. Thanks for the quick response.

i went through the same dilemma.

let me just preface this by saying i don't have a fraction of the knowledge that the big W does. but........i was considering the exact same tire/rim setup and i decided against it because i could not see how that tire was not going to rub against the arm on the inside. i only have about an inch of clearance now with the stock 18x7.5 with 5.5" bs and 275/65/18 tires. I couldn't see how i could add a rim that was 1.5" wider and had another 0.7" of backspace (the 951's are 6.19" bs) plus a tire that wide and not have rubbing. maybe it is just my truck. i am sure they are all a little different and the tolerances not that close. if i were you i would park the truck with the wheel at full turn and then stick your head in the wheel well and see just how much room you have back there behind the wheel.

either way i would be very interested to see how it turns out. please let me know. shoot me an email if you can. thanks!
