I have a 2005 FX4, AUTOSPRING leveling kit and 35x12.5x18 on stock wheels,I would like to buy new wheels and have two options,8.5 by 18 or 10 by 18 both of them with 5.5 backspacing,which would you recomend?

 

I would go with a 18 x 10. Thats just my opinion.

 

Since both have the same backspacing, the 8.5 inch wheels will stick out an inch farther than your OEM wheels while the 10 inch wide wheels will stick out 2.5 inches farther than your OEM 18x7.5 inch wheels (which also have 5.5inches of backspacing).

 

What is our max backspacing?

 

The 22x9.5's (also used on F-150's) on my Expy have 6.7 inches of backspacing.
