Ok I have narrowed it down to these three tires mickey t mtx/atz, Nitto terra grapplers, and **** Cepak Fun Country II. I know a lot of people run the nitto's but i want to know how you think the other two compare. My driving will be mostly street, occasional off road, some ice and some snow.

Out of those, the Nitto Terra Grapplers are probably the best tire, but the others are not bad by any means. There was a post last night by a member complaining that his **** Cepek Radial FC II tires didn't work well at all in the snow.

Would these be the ones http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...94&rd=16&ar=75 b/c their are two different ones for the size. The second one listed is the other one http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...03&rd=16&ar=75 I guess I shouldn't really be worried about snow that much, b/c I live in Tx, but in the north where i am we get some. I like the look of the **** cepek, my friend just got some terra's so i will see how they like them.

I ran some Nitto Terra Grapplers on my last truck, they were 305/55R20's.
Had them for 42k miles until I traded for my Ford. Never had a single problem with them, they got excellent traction on wet roads and on the minimal snow we see here in OK. Were not too loud, and had a smooth ride. They have a nice agressive tread but not outrageous, and even have the over the shoulder tread.

Was told in another forum for Dodges that the Grapplers would start wearing pretty well, and would only last me 50-60k.

These tires were in prime condition, and would have lasted at least another 40k, so I would highly recommend the Grapplers if you are looking for a good tire. Got mine from DiscountTireDirect.com and they also offer a replacement certificate for each tire if you want one, which means they value out the tire you ruined and replace it at a very very reduced price, if not for free, since you have to pay for the certificates. The only way you could really ruin a Grappler with the thickness of tread they have is to have something shoved through the sidewall. Anyways enough rambling here, you have my on the Grapplers

I believe E rated tires are rated for heavier towing/hauling than D rated tires. Most F-150's use D rated tires. Sorry, I'm not an expert on load ratings.

Wandell got a question for you, do you know the shape of the u-bolts? I think they are round, but the options are between round, semi round, and square. I have an 02.

I'm not sure, I would think round (that's what they look like) . But what the heck is "semi round"?

Oh you told me that a 305/70/16 tire would fit on my truck with the lift i plan, does that mean a 295/75/16 will fit as well?
