Will these tires work with my stock rims and a 2.5" kit
I have a 2004 F150 FX4 to which I am adding a 2.5" D-Star leveling kit and I was wondering if I could fit a set of Super Swamper Radial Trxus Mud-Terrain in 33x12.50-17? I had seen where some guys were putting the 305's on their trucks with no problems so I thought these should fit too? Anyone know? Also can you not buy the BFG M/T in a 305/70/R17? I like the looks of this tire, but I don't want to have to go down to the 285 size to run them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

33x12.5s would fit fine on your stockers and will clear fine with the leveling kit. I'd steer away from the Super Swampers though, I've heard nothing but bad things about them, especially their wear. My buddy is going through a set on a Blazer so fast it would make your head spin .
As far as the sizes on the BFG MTs, your right. They jump straight from a 285/70/R17 to a 35x12.5 R17. If you wanted to, the 35's would more than likely fit, give or take some slight trimming. I'm sure somone else could clear that up for you, and everyone will be chiming in with tire suggestions. Other than the BFGs, Pro Comp and Nitto seem to be some quality tires.

what kind of trimming would I have to do?
If I went with 35x12.5 R17 in a BFG M/T what amount of trimming would be needed after I installed the leveling kit? I didn't think anything bigger than a 33 would fit without a lift kit? Anyone got 35's on your truck, do you like them? Pics? Thanks eveyone for all the feedback and help with this!!!

BFG Mud-Terrain™ T/A® KM35x12.50R17/D
So if I stick with my oem rims I will be able to run the BFG Mud-Terrain™ T/A® KM35x12.50R17/D? Cool.... I just wanted to be sure before I bought the tires. Anyone know where the best prices are for these? I live just South of Memphis, TN. so I am sure I'll have to have them shipped here. Thanks for all you help, time and effort in helping me get my F150 looking good.
Thanks,
Clay
