Lug issues, maybe???

Just swapped out wheels (from 16" steelies to 17" OEM saw blade style) on my gf's 00 F150. The wheels fit no problem, but the studs don't seem to be long enough. The rears seem to be a tad longer than the fronts. I torqued em to 100lbs, took a spin, rechecked them and the front were a tiny bit loose.

Anyone got thoughts on this?

Lugs seem long enough. Also if the lugs are 14mm, torque should be 150 ftlbs.

The lugs (both original and the set that came with the rims) are marked with 100lbs on the washers. I kept the previous wheels at 100 without any problems. I thought about going up around 125, which I don't think would stretch the threads before all the rust kills her. The whole 12mm vs 14mm has completely confused me. From searching I thought I saw all 2000's and up went to 14 no matter which wheels you got.

If they are marked 100 ftlbs, then they are 12mm lugs and 100 is correct. It is normal to have to retighten lugs after a while.
Very early 2000 had 12mm lugs.
