325/60R18 on stock 18" Rim

I have searched and have become frustrated because I cant find what Im looking for. I would like to know if I can fit 325/60R18 ProComp Xtreme AT tires on my stock FX4 rims? I know it also says 33x13.5x18 on the tire.

Looking at Procomp's site they recommend a 9-12" rim width for that tire. Personally, I would stay within an inch of the stock rim-but that is just me. If your stock FX4 rims are 7.5" wide, look for a tire (like their 35") that recommends an 8.0-11.0' rim width. Another option; if you have a leveling kit you may be able to stuff a 35X12.5X18 under there on a stock rim. I know there are members running a similar combo, maybe some of them will chime in to help you out.

IMO, 13.50 is to wide to stick on stock rims...

I agree. A 325/60 is too wide for a 7.5 inch wheel. However, a few members have done it with no problems. Usually, running a tire on too narrow a wheel will cause the center portion of the tire's tread to wear slightly faster than normal, similar to running too much air pressure.

I know other people on here think it is ok to put a 325 on a stock rim...well after much thought and research I did just that...I went and purchesed a set of 325/60/18 Toyo ATs to replace my 285/60/18s which only had 1000 miles on them I droped my truck off and went to get something to eat...when I came back they wanted me to take a look at the front driver side tire (new one) I took one look at how close the tire was to everything including the upper control arm ( I guess thats what it is) Anyway i said thanks guys hate to do this but put my old tires back on...yeah it looked great but why worry about weather or not you tires are going to last do to all the rubbing plus he said if the tire busted do to rubbing Toyo would void the factory warranty any way just my 2 cents good luck on what ever you decide to do
