Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70/17 on STOCK 17'' rims?
Howdy,
Ive come across a set of 4 used (10k miles) Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70/17 and was curious if these would fit on my stock 17inch wheels...
I drive a 2005 f150 SCrew 2wd. I believe my rims are 7.5'' wide, the approved rim width for the Grapplers are 8.0-9.0''. (according to their website)
So my questions are:
Will they fit my wheels and truck? (everything is stock, no lift or leveling)
Will discount tire mount them for me (since they dont match the 'approved rim width') and what do most places charge for mounting tires?
One of the tires is however patched due to a puncture and is apparently leak free now. Im not very knowledgable on tire repair so if someone could shed some light on this for me that would be great. Such as, is this still a good tire if its been patched? Or is this a red flag telling me to find tires elsewhere..
What would you guys pay for this set? (10k miles with 10-11/32nds of tread left)
Thanks for the help, hope you guys enjoyed the Thanksgiving break.

Will these tires just not fit? or would they fit with some minor rubbing?
i do plan on eventually doing a small body lift or leveling kit (trying to decide which is the best for my truck / warranty, keep getting mixed opinions) but these tires are available now and i dont want them to collect dust

look at oxlanders truck it fit 295/70r17 nittos on his 4x2 with stock rims, but he also used a 2.5 autospring. His truck does look good.
I have the 2.5 on mine and I am going to put 285/70r17 bfg at's on in the spring.
