2007 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

I just saw that the 2007 F150 now has a tire pressure monitoring system. That's the one thing I wanted and couldn't get when I bought my 06. Does anyone know how the system works and if it can be retro fit to the 04-06 models?

Here's a pic of the sensor mounted on rim (i believe they send an RF signal):

These just came today!! They are 18"x8 with the sensors already mounted. They come on the 2007 Expedition Eddie Baur edition..:

...just need to find some tires now...and the pressure receiver kit for in the cab!

zsommer79; I too need info on retrofitting the receiving end inside. Someone else on here posted a link to here for a kit called "smart tire":

I want one that will accurately read the actual tire psi inside. IF this works out i'd like to mount them on the MR2 track car:

and my street/track focus in the slicks(road coarse compound):

I bought them from OEM wheels on ebay; whom I HIGHLY recommend. I bought them this past Sat. with the buy it now for $299 and shipping for all 4 wheels in seperate well packed boxes was $80 ; 379 all said and done, and they were here 2 days later. He gave me the part number and at the dealership they are $307 EACH. I think they'll look pretty good and I bet I won't see any Eddie baurs in my town so I should be safe... here's a link to the auction:
