Changing from 17" rims to 18"

I've got an 05 F150 2-wheel drive which came with stock 255/65/17. Have the chance to by 18" rims that came off of a Lariat 4X4. Will the rims fit and what negative factures am I looking at (loss of mpg, power, etc). Truck has the 5.4 with 3.55 gears

Thanks

You will lose a little bit of gearing and a little more added weight, but its barely noticeable. I went from 235-65-17 to FX4 take offs and I couldnt telll the difference. The main thing to worry about is recalibrating your speedo with a tuner.
