Like to see some pics of 315x70x17 on 04-05 4x4 with 2.5 level Kit
Title says it all.
I am interested in either the BFG's All Terrian or the Nitto Terra Grapplers
The specs are as follows of each tire:
Nitto's:
LT295/70 R17 121R 16.5 33.19 (diameter) 12.13 8.0-(8.5)-9.5 3195@65
BFG's:
LT315/70R17/D 121R 8.5 - 10.0 12.0 on 8.5 34.5 (diameter) 17.0 601 3195@50
I have an 05 SCab with a 2.5 leveling Kit. After reading for well over an hour and a half I haven't found a definiative answer (with pics) from some one that actally has the BFG's or if they will rub or not. My stock wheels are 7.5 wide.
I don't want to stuff the bigger tire under there and end up having it look stupid.
I do next to no wheelin but, if the urge strikes (which it might) I don't want to have to be even more careful because of rubbin'
Two Concern's looks and rubbin
TIA for the PIC's guys!

I just put on a set of BFG LT 315 70r17 on my 2005 F-150 4x4...No lift kit on this vehicle. I'll take some pics and figure out how to post em.
I do get a bit of a squeel on a left hand turn when hitting a dip once in a while....namely entering my driveway
I've put the truck through the paces on and off-road and only have had the tire squeel getting into the driveway. In the mud the BFG really do make a difference. The new tires do reduce the overall ride quality, namely meaning the truck feels more like a truck. It felt like driving a car with the General tires that were on there.

The way I post pictures is
1) Go to my gallery in a new browser window
2) Find the picture I want and open it
3) Then right click on it and choose properties
4) Highlight the link contained therein
5) Then right click and choose copy
6) Then in the message that I am wanting to post I chose the little picture right above Enhanced mode above. If you move your mouse pointer over it, it says inset image.
7) Click on that then right click again and paste your URL (text from the your gallery).
That easy
Might take you a few to get it right but, keep trying bro you'll get it

My 06 Screw came with the 18" wheels as well. The 295 Nittos aren't made in an 18" wheel size, just the 325 which would be too wide for my tastes. I like the look of your 295 tires on the 17". If you get a chance to post some daytime pics that would be appreciated. I had wanted to retain the stock wheels, but the cost of tires in the 18" size is at least 50% higher than those for 17" or 16". I think it's about $245 each for the 325 on 18". The 295 Nitto on 16" is like $140. Different size tires I know, but you can almost get free rims for the price difference. The question is then, will 17" or 16" wheels fit on the 06 F150?
