Arrow BFG AT 295/75/16? Toyo M/Ts or BFG M/T?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a 295/75/16 tire would fit properly on a 16x7 wheel? Also, would they fit under a 1999 2WD F150 with a 3.5" spindle lift up front and 2" in the back?? Many people have suggested to go with the 285/75/16 but I just wondered if the 295s would work? Also does anyone know about how many total miles the Toyo Open Country M/Ts or BFG M/Ts last?

They will fit on the wheel, but the 285's will fit better. I'm pretty sure the 296's will fit with a spindle lift and stock wheels

I'm renewing this post because I have a similar question that I didn’t feel needed a new thread. I just put a 3.5" spindle, 2" coil spacer and 3" block on my 00 2wd. I’m looking at new tires and am thinking a 33(285/75/16) won’t be enough of a change. I currently have 265s and because the spindle pushed the wheels out I had to trim the valance. So my question is will a 295/75/16 fit on my truck? I have no problem trimming the valance and fender; I just don’t want to rub on suspension or un trimable fender parts.

You should be fine with 295's.

thanks wandell. i figured youd chime in for me. ill be going to 4wheelparts to pick up my new bilsten 5100s for the rear this week so im going to check out their tire deals. heres my dilema, interco and some others make a 255/85/16. this gives me the height i want but with a narrower width for less rolling resistance, also the price difference between them and 285's is usually about $40 and$50 and up for 295s. just not sure if it will look right with the smaller width. anybody got pics of a 255/85/16?
