If you install larger diameter tires you should think about improving the braking system. If you add more go, you should add more whoa. Just because the wheels are 24" doesn't mean the tires are any larger in diameter than stock. Although the stock brakes will look silly and small inside those huge wheels.

You dont have to upgrade your brakes but i can say this i have 20's and they have worked over my braking system on my 01 supercrew and i have all wheel disks in converting to drilled and slotted lightning brakes and i think that should solve my braking issues. When you add weight to the wheel you should upgrade your bakes..I mean its your life and your decision good luck with whatever you decide to do

Think about it like this. Its like pulling a boat with an eclipse. Sure, it'll do it, but after a while it'll just crap out. The brakes need a little more oompf to stop. You could pay like $3500 for that rip off kit, or just do like I did and add some nice rotors with upgraded pads! Look through the threads, I have posted pictures.
