best tire size to get??

best tire size to get??

i have a 2005 f150 xlt, 4x4. i was wondering if 285/70/17 will fit without making any adjustments?

I completely agree with wandell. I put 35x12.50s on my 04 FX4 with only a leveling kit. It will rub occasionally, but only if it is just right. Otherwise i have no troubles, so the tires you want to run will fit easily.

When I bought mine, I got them at Sam's, but I dont know if they even carry larger than my size.

Discount Tire a good place to go, there are alot of them around so if you ever have problems you usually dont have to go too far.

You can buy them online, but you'd have to find a really good deal to make any difference after shipping comes into play.
