Baer 15" Brake Kit

After a few hours in the shop today, I got the 15" Baer Brake kit installed on the front of our 2006 Harley F150 Supercharger Project Truck. Very nice kit and I must say it's nice to actually be able to see the brakes behind the 22's...

Big thumbs up to Baer... Tomorrow, the rear Baer Rotor kit goes on to complete the job...

Cool Stuff.

Hard to beat Baer. What's the min wheel size for those?

Very nice, and since it's the Eradi-speed-1+, then it's just offsetting the caliper and putting on the larger rotors...no need for bleeding or anything. Not too shabby...wonder what min wheel size is like Newt mentioned.

I would think it's pretty cheap considering it's just the caliper mounting bracket and rotors (and maybe some bolts). I wouldn't expect it to be too more than 1.5x the cost of replacement rotors.

I dug around in Baer's website. The Eradispeed +1 requires 20's or larger. Some 20's won't work.

hmm, how much is it?

I could use them in the summer when I use the 22's and then put the stock ones back on when I use the 18s in the winter.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, we're a authorized Baer dealer and can sell the kits.

Here are the details on the 04+ F150 offerings. On our Harley, we've got the Eradispeed +1 kit, which is a 1.5" larger in diameter as compared to the stock brakes. The system needs a minimum of 16.5" inner diameter to clear the relocated caliper. The majority of 20" rims shouldn't be a problem...

Front applications:

The Extreme+ front brake system (4261049, 2wd and 4261050, 4wd) features 6 piston monoblock calipers with 15" diameter, slotted, cross-drilled and zinc washed rotors, and includes all necessary hardware and pads for installation.

The EradiSpeed+1 front upgrades (2261029, 2wd and 2261030, 4wd) include 15"
diameter, slotted, cross-drilled and zinc washed rotors and utilize new anchors (brackets) to relocate the factory OE calipers to accommodate the larger rotors.

Rear
The DecelaRotor replacement rotors (54111-020, 2 and 4wd) are direct replacement rotors that are slotted, drilled and zinc washed. Dimensionally the are the same as the OE units.

I'm waiting on the updated price list and should have pricing on Monday...

Can't wait to hear about the price. Is there a Baer kit out there that I could use on my 4WD that I could use for the 22s in the summer and 18s in the winter? If so, how much?

Thanks,

Duke
