2Wd fitment
Hi everybody, I hope I don't live up to my screenname. I've been lurking FOREVER (Dec. '03), but never had anything to say. Thanks for all the tips and advice!
Anyhow, I have been watching, and although the 'what size tire can i fit on my stock rims' questions have been flogged to death, it seems that my particular configuration has not been addressed.
In other words, can I fit the 285/65/18 TA-KOs on my truck ('04 screw, 2WD) without a leveling kit?
1st post here, in fact, anywhere ever! Whew!

exactly!
ok if your going to get bigger tires on a 4x2 dont go any bigger than 265 70 17! With that combo on a 4x2 it makes your truck look great! it doesnt look too stuffed like some people are having to deal with on their 285's. I have 265's with 17 inch rims and it looks great, any bigger would look bad. Even with a leveling kit i would not go any bigger then 265's unless your going with i would say 3 inches all around.
