wheel and tire fitment?

Ok I have narrowed my wheel combo down and would like to know if it will fit with no problem. I have an 05 screw with a 2'' autospring leveling kit. I want to put on American Racing 17x8 Mojove polished wheels w/ Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires 33x12.5x17. If anyone has a pic of these wheels or tires that would be great. Any comments would help also. I do mostly highway but do hunt every year and will be on the beach starting this spring.

i had the 18x9.5 mojave with the 4.25 backspace and had rubbing issues on the body, pretty bad. I had the TOYO 33's and on turns and backing-out it would rub pretty hard. You may not have a problem with the 8" but check your backspace so that they don't stick out and you should not have any problems. I went back to my factory wheel and 33's for now. Good luck

They should work, if the backspacing is right.

Thank you. Im looking at a Mickey Thompson classic lock now because of the wider wheel. Do you think I will have better clearence with a 17'' rim compared to an 18'' rim with a 5.5'' back spacing? I just talked to 4x4 part and they said it should fit no problem. What would be the best back spacing to get on custom rims. Sorry about all the questions.

I have the MT classic locks 17X9 5.5" bs with 33X12.50 tires and have no clearance problems at all. My front end is leveled via Rancho shocks. Just an fyi, I think the MT 18" wheel has a 6.0" bs.

I just looked at your truck on another post and its perfect, Im going to go with the same rims and Baja claw tires 33x12.5x17. I have a 2'' autospring kit on already but will be going with a Skyjacker 3'' later on. Question on the rims are they clear coated? And do the tires rub at lock? Thanks for all info.

The rims are not clear coated. You're going to have to keep up on them with the polish. I polish them about 2-3 times a month and keep a coat of wax on them after each polish. Also, about once a month, I'll remove the simulated bead locks so I can polish the part of the rim underneath them. The tires do not rub at all, not even at full lock.

I might look into getting them clear coated before the install. With the salt and snow is going to be a pain to keep these clean. Thanks for all your help.
