answer when you have time...it's 2:30am and I'm too tired to research and I know you know everything about tires. I did some damage to my truck and looks like insurance is gonna pay for some new tires and rims...guess I'm gonna have to upgrade to something bigger and better(I should get in more accidents) anyway a little more beef is what I'm looking for, gonna probably do a leveling kit in the front of my 2002 screw 4x4, just to hike it up a bit. what will fit nicely(tire and rim)?

Thanks, sooner or later I'm going for your look.

I'd suggest a 33x12.50 tire on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing. I'd go with a 16, 17 or 18 inch wheel.

Theres no leveling kits for your truck. You can crank the torsion bars though.

follow up Q

thanks fellas... would installing different springs be the same or better as a torsion bar adjustment...only 1-2 inches so we don't have to mess with anything else.

thanks again

Just did my torsion bars, you can get that 1-2 inches in 20 minutes or less and it won't cost you a dime.

You can get heavier duty torsion bars, but it will have the same effect as cranking your stockers.

Also, you need to get an alignment afterwards, but that should be less than $50

thanks, fellas. Looks like I'm gonna crank them up and save the cake for a better grill/bumper/headlights.

sucks to get in an accident, but it makes changing the grill/bumper/headlights, etc a nobrainer decision(hmmm, factory or aftermarket for a few more bucks...duhhh)

funny part is I just installed a new hood 6 months ago and it didn't get a scratch!!!I like being lucky
