ive got a 99 f150 supercab 4x4 and im looking to find out what is the max tire size i can fit on a 16in rim.also im thinking of raising the front of my truck by adjusting the torsion bars is this a good or bad idea. email me let me know thanks for your time

 

You can fit a 285/75R16 on the stock wheels without clearance issues.

Yes you can crank the torsion bars. It makes the truck ride a little stiffer, so some people like it, some dont. Youll have to make that decision. Remeber you need to get an alignment done you adjust it.
