Tire Size on 98 Ford...

Im planning on getting new tires soon but am not sure what will fit. I have a 1998 Ford F-150 2WD but I have the 2" Trailmaster leveling kit lifting up the front. Right now I have P245/70R16 (about 29.5") and want to increase to either P275/70R16 (31.5") or LT285/75R16 (33").

Will the 285's even fit? I know someone who has a 4WD F-150 and thats what he has on his but im not sure if they will fit on mine. Also, any possible future problems with the brakes, ect. or precautions i should take by increasing that much? Any info is appreciated...

The 285's will fit, but I think I would stick with 265's since you only have a leveling kit. I think the wheelwells just look too "stuffed" with 285's.
