Unhappy problem changing tire size

hi all, this is my first post.
I have an 03 f150 2wd
It came with p275/60/17
I got a set of svt lightning rims and tires which are 295/45/r18.
I had my pcm reflashed to what ford said was the "closest they could get"
My speedo is out quit a bit and the odometer is going too fast.
Is the an 18" tire with the same circumfrence as a p275/60/r17?
Also is it possible to put slightly larger tires on the rear only on a 2wd.

thx 4 the help---Joe

275/60R17 metric-sized is 30.0x10.8R17 inch-sized

295/45R18 metric sized is 28.5x11.6R18 inch-sized

265 is 10.4 inches wide
275 is 10.8 inches wide
285 is 11.2 inches wide
295 is 11.6 inches wide
305 is 12.0 inches wide
315 is 12.4 inches wide
325 is 12.8 inches wide

The exact mathematical p-metric size equivalent height tire for 275/60/R17 in 18" wheel would be the following widths and aspect ratios to achieve 30 inche tire height.

265/58R18
275/56R18
285/54R18
295/52R18
305/50R18
315/48R18
325/47R18

approximate the values above to find a 30" tall R18 tire and search the tire catalogs for one that looks like a good match for what you want.
