It's a matter of personal opinion. I think they both look great.

BFGs look great, but will provide a much harsher ride than the pasenger stockers. I can't speck for the ride on the nittos.

I think the BFGs look better.

I have the Nittos and the BFG's look much more aggressive.

Stock size.

I'll be going with a 315/70/17 mud terrain type when these Nittos wear out.

Which BFG's are you talking about? The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's? I like the look of the BFG's myself if thats what you're talking about.
Anyone who has those, how did they handle in the snow? I want to get a set of them but hear that they are horrible in snow from some of the reviews on tirerack.com. Thats something to consider against the Nitto's.

OMG! The BFG A/T is fantastic on snow! I have the LT285/70R17's on my XLT. I took the truck up into the Cascades Friday night to play in the snow. On an uphill grade with packed snow/ice, I punched the throttle and experienced NO slip whatsoever. Nothing! Which surprised me. I expected a little. Also, from 45-50 mph on packed snow, the truck stopped on a dime...well, quarter. Also a surprise. Pure ice, she slipped a bit, but not bad. On ice, you're screwed pretty much with anything. The most exciting part of my adventure was pushing snow with the bumper. It ranged from 2-3 feet (at most) with higher drifts. Again, at this point I expected to screw myself. Nope. I was able to get myself turned around and followed the trail my rear differential made back to the hwy. So, whoever said that the BFG sucks in snow is retarded (pardon the term)!

The bottom line: The F150 SC is a badass snow tank! BFG/Ford...The ultimate combo!

Dan

P.S. All of this done in 4WD High.

I just replaced my BFG T/A KOs, LT265/70R/17 on my 2000 XLT SCAB 4X4 ORP. They looked great but I was disapointed with with them for the price. They didn't hold up to sharp rocks or wear well. In my opinion they were great in mud but only marginal on snow and ice. I felt the stock wranglers were as good a tire but I wasn't happy with them either. This time I went with Bridgstone Revo LT 265/70R/17s. Ive only had them a week so I haven't formed an opinion yet.

I just bought a set of BFG A/T 285/70/17's and I can honestl tell you i love the ride. The feel so much better then my stock 235's. No noise or anything. I thought the steering would be stiffer but it isn't. BFG go with them.

Can you take a pic of them for me?? Thats the exact size i was looking at and I wanted to see how they look and fit on the rims. How much did you end up paying for all 4?

Here are pics of the BFG's on my truck with the leveling kit. Might sit a bit funny because of the decline at my house drive way. I'm on the search for new wheels because i know from reading and my own personal opinion it'll look ever better. I plan on getting maybe a 3in lift on my truck to set it off just correct. 33's on my truck is so wonderful.
