Warped Rotor?

Driving to visit the parents tonight and after deceling I felt a slight surging in the brakes. Hit a stop light it got a little worse. Just before we get there the truck is shuddering and it feels like the brakes are dragging with no brake pressure at all. I get out and feel the driverside rim and it is hot enough to burn. Let it cool down for an hour and it drove fine, downshifting to lay off the brakes, made it home fine. I am pretty confident that it is a warped rotor and when slowing down from highway speeds the heat exagerated the problem but I am looking for a little reassurement or guidance . thanx a bunch guys

If the brakes are dragging I would suspect a bad brake hose. You should be able to feel a pulsation in the brake pedal if the rotor is warped.

The caliper on that side could have frozen as well. Take the wheel off and inspect for one side of the pads to be more severely worn than the other.
