i recently bought a set of pro-comp Xtreme all terrain 325-60-r18 and i cranked the torsion up and then trimmed some plastic, and everything seems fine....do i need to get my truck re-aligned even if everything seems normal??

Yes, you need an alignment. Even if you alignment was perfect, cranking up the torsion bars affected it. It's not worth wearing out a $1000 set of tires by trying to save $39 on a front end alignment.
