Wheel balancing problem

So I bought some new 24" wheels today. When I go above 45mph the steering wheel starts to shake and keeps going until about 65mph. I looked at the wheels and there are ALOT of weights on the wheels. There are weights stacked on top of weights. Should the wheels need that much weight to balance out?

It is very hard to balance at 20" wheel, much less a 24". I have 20's on my truck which have a lot of weights on the wheel, but I still have a little vibration. You might try balancing it again. Does the virbartions stop after 65 mph?

It starts about 50mph and it will stop about 65 and then start again at 70.

I just got new 20" wheels and tires 3 days ago and I had the exact same problem. I took the truck back to the shop and they found that 3 of the wheels were a little bit off balance. They thought maybe the balancing machine wasn't setup properly during the original install. Now it's fixed. They actually took weights off each of the 3 wheels. Take it back. They'll fix it.
