Do it yourself re-gearing for 35" tires.

hello,
I want to regear my f150 4x4, it has 3.55 in it now.... is it possible to regear it yourself to save money?

You can, but its a pretty complicated and precise procedure. One of those things that requires some specialty tools if you want it done right.

Installing the gears is pretty easy. Adjusting them correctly takes specialty tools and a lot of knowledge and experience. Get it wrong and they will howl and wear out quickly.
