285's... No Problem

Even though I bought 265's for my 1998 F150 Lariat, 5 years ago, Because... 4 Wheel Parts told me that 285's wouldn't fit, and they wouldn't put them on. They due! And look Great! I did add a rear leaf (Wanted more support for hauling Dirt Bikes) and did a 1" spindle lift, and took out the spacer on the well molding behind the front tires. They would have fit with out any of this, but, just looks better.

Nice truck! Yeah, 285's fit easily with room to spare. I assume by "1 inch spindle lift", you mean you cranked up the preload on the torsion bars.
Also, welcome to the site.

Thanks for the Welcome. I've been viewing this site for a long time. Just decided to sign in. And yes, I cranked up the preload.
